ABG SHIPYARD LIMITED presently the largest private sector shipbuilder in India has currently an order book position of about Rs 8450 corers. As of now the company is building vessels up to 54000 DWT & 182 meters in length at its existing shipyard situated near Magdalla, Surat and Dahej. And also building for Battle Practice Target and Cadet training Ship for Indian Navy situated near Dahej. Till carriers, Anchor Handling Tugs, Utility Vessels, Dynamic Positioning Vessels, and Pollution Control Vessels etc.

Job Responsibility:

Preparation of Cable Terminal Connection drawing base on supplier’s drawing.

Verify supplier’s drawing according to class and owner requirements.

Correspondences with suppler, owner and class.

Preparation cable diagram drawing base on supplier’s drawing.

Solving site problems.

Procurement of all navigation & communication equipments, internal communication system (i.e. Auto telephone system, sound power telephone & PA system).

Preparation of As – Built Drawings.

Aware of various Rules and Regulations of Classification Societies like DNV, NKK, Etc.

Checking project Drawings as it is built in precision with Electrical Coach and G.M.

Calculation of Lux requirement of different rooms in ship.

Project Handle in ABG Shipyard Ltd.

Project Name: 32 DWT bulk Carrier, 54K DWT Bulk Carrier.

Owner- Precious Shipping public Ltd & ESSAR Shipping Ltd.

Preparation of Electrical equipment’s arrangement drawing for wheel house with taking care of Panama Canal authority requirement and class requirement.

Preparation of Electrical equipment layout of chart table and W/H console.

Preparation of block diagram, cable diagram and cable terminal drawing for various systems (i.e. Internal Communication system, PA & talkback System, Navigation & Communication System, Multi coupler Antenna System, Air & Electric Horn, LAN connection in different cabins, Gyro magnetic compass, auto pilot interface with steering gear system etc.) as per suppliers drawings.

Preparation of arrangement of Navigation Lights based on COLREG regulation.

Preparation of arrangement of Engine room console (ECC) and Wheel house console (WHC). And arrangement of all electrical equipments in engine room.

Taken care of Approval of all drawings from the class and ship-owners and resolved and modified drawings as per class (NKK) comments.

Co-ordinating with Electrical production and hull design specifically for echo sounder and speed log equipments for site queries.

Involved in preparation of All Electrical Production drawings, cross checking the drawings against Class rules before sending for approval and preparation of as fitted drawings.

Cable scheduling and estimation.

Cross checking the supplier drawings with build specifications.

Cable hanger, Trey routing and locating electrical equipment, panels in 3D modeling.

Preparation of Electrical Load Analysis. Transformer Load Analysis. Emergency Battery calculations.
