OBJECTIVE

PROFILE

My carrier started in 1992 as a General Clerk in Pacific & Orient Insurance Company Berhad and gradually was promoted to Secretary after obtaining my Diploma in Executive Secretary in 1995. The opportunity to learn have motivated me to further my studies, during my Masters I was able to successfully combined my studies with work and other commitments showing myself to be self-motivated, organised and capable of working under pressure.

In 2005 after obtaining my Masters I explored in my carrier as Personal Assistant for Executive Chairman in Chase Perdana Sdn Bhd, I have given an opportunity to explore in Human Resource as there was shortage of manpower in Human Resource under Turiya-CH Management Services.

Turiya-CH Management Services was the management arm for Chase Perdana Sdn Bhd and Turiya Berhad.

I was appointed as Executive in Organization Development and within a short period was promoted as Senior Human Resources Executive. As a Senior Executive my role was to develop the existing Handbook and setting up Standard Operating Procedures for Human Resources Department.

Later in 2008 I was promoted to Assistant Manager Human Resource and my main job scope was to oversee the payroll as well as the recruitment process. In 2011 I was promoted to Human Resource Manager to oversee the full spectrum of Human Resources.

I left Turiya-CH and was headhunted and I joined Spectrum of Life Sdn Bhd in Jan 2013. In Spectrum I was heading the department and my role was as a generalize role.

Set up Human Resource Department

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Recruitments

Managing the complete recruitment life cycle for sourcing the best talent from diverse sources after identification of manpower requirements.

Planning human resource requirements in consultation with heads of different functional & operational areas and conducting selection interviews. Designed Manpower requisition form and emphasized the usage of the form for replacement or recruitment of candidates in line with ISO standards. Reviewed job descriptions for accuracy; created and maintained job description with updated descriptions.

To ensure all documents are in order before the interview session (original cert, copy of cert / NRIC and other related documents)

Appointment letters for new recruit and other letter to be issued for Medical check / opening bank account and other related enquiries before Appointment

Developing Employee Orientation Program

Conduct orientation for new comer / briefing on Company structure, policy and procedures of company / touring them to intro to other staff and to ensure all internal documents are given accordingly.

Introduce the new employee to the organization by e-mail

Ensure the immediate team and security staff are aware of the new employee’s start

Compensation and Benefits

Group Insurance coverage for the whole Group which includes Group Hospitalization and Surgical (GHS), Group Term Life (GTL) and Group Personal Accident (GPA) . Briefing staff on their benefits and Plan accordingly.

Proposal to Management on renewal of Insurance policies. Nominated as Corporate nominee for Group of Companies which enables to get 10% discounted rate for all Insurance policies.

Developed and implemented new benefit packages, ensuring that these were current and competitive and in line with legal requirements. (Successfully implemented 15% Employer EPF share to all confirmed employees)

Staff disciplinary issues

Issuing Show Cause / warning letter / Domestic Inquiry . Counseling for staff if requested by Management

Payroll Administer
