Personal Profile

I have previously sailed as a qualified Third Officer Deck. Due to leaving to attend University to bring up my young family and facilitate a career change, I was left with a good grade for my degree but no job. This has been the case since May 2012, despite applying for many vacancies I have had no success up until the present time in securing a permanent position. I am currently serving as a voluntary Third Officer onboard the STS Stavros S. Niarchos. I am looking for a company to give me a second chance at a permanent seagoing career. I believe that my past experience and current time on board sail training vessels will assist me and I still have my STCW95 Basic certificates, GMDSS and Class II/1 OOW and a valid ENG1.
