SECURE DRILLING SERVICES (MPD) - WEATHERFORD, Houston, TX ● 2014 – 2015
Deepwater MPD Installation and Commissioning Manager
Played integral role in developing, installing, and commissioning next generation Deepwater MPD systems for certified offshore vessel deployment. Developed and maintained program for ABS-CDS & DNV-OS-E101 rig class certification for Weatherford MPD drilling systems, and served as Installation Manager for MPD equipment for offshore vessels. Managed more than $480M in active projects worldwide, including supervision of eight employees for long term projects and global support between Houston, Brazil, Angola and Aberdeen (UK). Developed rig surveys, rig scanning, and cad support for MPD installation and commissioning, and served as Design Chair for MPD engineering new generation development projects. Act as committee member for API 7k, 17k and 16c standards for Weatherford MPD and drilling operations, and Taproot investigator for all international MPD operations.
Successfully completed $200M projects for major clients including BP, Exxon, Ocean Rig, Shell, Seadrill, and Chevron.
Served as Technical Consultant in $160M procurement initiative to standardize equipment purchases and minimize waste for MPD procurement.
PARKER DRILLING, Houston, TX ● 2013 – 2014
Senior Project Manager
Managed development of next generation land rigs for use in severe environments from South America to Arctic environments in Sakhalin and North Slope. Designed and developed risk management assessments for business development management. Led EPC projects valued between $300M and $500M for various clients. Led 15 personnel for long term projects between Houston, Alaska and Oklahoma.
Successfully complete BP Liberty $400M demobilization project in North Slope Alaska.

Senior Project Engineer
Oversaw, developed and completed next generation completion and drilling products and technologies in multiple areas, including fishing, packers, intelligent well control, sand control, wellbore intervention, and construction. Supervised 10 C&P PMO project managers in Houston, and Oklahoma, and provided business development management for remediation and stimulation, wellbore construction and liners. Supported field operations for US land, Gulf of Mexico, and all international company locations.
Served as Technical Project Consultant for $360M portfolio of next generation completions tools.
Led high profile projects totalling $180M within remediation and stimulation work-over systems.
Served as project manager for $140M portfolio of sand control fracking and gravel pack operations worldwide.
Managed team of 12 systems level team members in production of next generation sand control systems.
Designed and developed new bridge plugs and packers for US land rental services design portfolio of $20M.

Managed all facets of unique packers, clamping, and intelligent well projects, enabling lower completion costs, longer well life, and higher performance characteristics than ever previously achieved. WEATHERFORD, Houston, TX ● 2000 – 2004
Project Engineer
Spearheaded successful completion of joint partnership with Tejas Engineering, including integration of new products into Weatherford's PDM process. Created PDM and project management systems to facilitate merging of company systems and technologies, including creation and implementation of new safety standards and best practices.
Project managed $30M portfolio of safety valve system development (20 sizes of valves over three years).
Managed successful $5M Weatherford Premium Thread Development Project.
Served as Primary Project Engineer for Patented Cement Thru Safety Valve System.
CAMCO (A SCHLUMBERGER COMPANY), Houston, TX ● 1999 – 2000
Completions Engineer
Managed fast turn-around projects enabling production of new completions equipment in accordance with strict customer deadlines and requirements. Facilitated API/ISO certification of $2M of Camco valves and documentation. Served as Sustaining Engineer for completions and safety valve equipment at Ardmore facility. Supported field operations for US Land, GOM, and international locations for all gas lift, safety valve, and completions tools.
SHAFFER (A VARCO COMPANY), Houston, TX ● 1995 – 1999
Drilling Equipment Engineer
Led successful project and portfolio management of entire drilling rig systems. Gained two years of field experience in offshore and land based drilling operations. Managed and trained eight engineers, in addition to serving as support and field engineer for blow out preventers for Gulf of Mexico, US land and international locations.
Directed 30 employees in successful $100M Petrobras P-10 rig installation.
