Responsibilities:

InfoSphere BigInsights is designed to help IT professionals quickly get started with big data analytics using Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS).

My work was to determine the scope and verify the functionalities of various Infosphere BigInsights Components.

It focused on the DB2 Integration via JAQL in the LUW and Z OS and also the configuration.

As a QA Intern my job was to write Test Scripts in JAQL (JSON a Query Language) that would verify if all the DB2 supported functionalities are working fine after the Integration.

Worked on the setting up and configuration of Flume and wrote scripts to modify the existing nodes on Flume with number (add/remove) and roles (master/slave).

●Advanced databases Project - KDD Cup [MS Project]

The Database dump of the Knowledge data discovery [KDD] was used to create OLAP cubes and dimensions keeping in mind the final goal of the project - to maximize the profit. For the design of the OLAP CUBE more focus has been given on the information of the areas important to the project by extracting data through Data Discovery. The OLAP data structure helps in determining which attributes were to be chosen for faster analysis of data.

Web Technologies (WT) project is about enhancement, development and support work of various websites that comes under category e-Business Solution (solution to enhance business of BUPA UK).
