Portfolio Return Analysis with SAS

Conducted a portfolios analysis with 30 years monthly stock data from NASDAQ; calculated their return and ranked these stocks based on their return; created portfolios winner or loser based on the rank of these stocks. Finally, invested into these portfolios, analyzed their performance after a certain period and identified the best performer stock portfolio.

Multiple Regression Analysis with SAS

Hypothesis testing, Model Specification and Multiple regression analysis using qualitative and quantitative data such as U.S. Census Bureau, 2000 Census of Population and Housing, Public Use Microdata Sample, United States. Regression included the dependent variable income fluctuates with changes of gender, education level, race, age, working hours and so on.

Time Series and Forecasting Analysis with Eviews/AIRMA Model

With the seasonally adjusted 30 years monthly data of consumer price index of India and Bangladesh, a study is conducted using standard GARCH model to find inflation affects inflation uncertainty of these two countries. The volatility of inflation does not affect people’s future inflation expectation in case of India because of big economic area and stable political policy whereas the variability of inflation affects people’s mind about future inflation expectation.

Capital Budgeting and Pricing with Excel

Determined price for a project through calculating initial investment, expenses and cash flows from this project for every term; discounted back to find net present value of the project and concluded to invest into the positive NPV projects to increase stock value of the shareholder of this company.

Investment and Risk Analysis with Excel/Pivot Table

Developed zero risk portfolio with diversifying investment into different stocks and bond regarding correlation, covariance, and market risk of individual stocks of the diversified portfolio. Also identified overvalued and undervalued stocks and bonds to discover arbitrage opportunity to make money without any cost.
