I’m an experienced and educated professional ready to improve an organization’s brand with my high spirited customer relation skills. Performance driven client administrative professional with 6 months of successful months facilitating support services, and working in fast-paced office operations. I have an AA degree in Biology. I have strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to concurrently direct multiple business activities. Advanced understanding of customer needs with diligent attention to detail resulting in superior customer service and high levels of client satisfaction. I have gained the following skills from my work and life experience in customer relations--have adhered to past employers’ standards for customer service and have received excellent performance reviews from supervisors, able to greet customers with a friendly smile and upbeat attitude. Can answer questions related to products, payment, and store policies, or escalate the question to store manager as needed…familiar with point-of-sale systems, scanners and related software. Can quickly learn new products and procedures; for example, enrolled customers for Target Redcards, and upselling admission packages at Clearwater Aquarium.

Met all quarterly goals set by management for enrollment. In transactions, can safely and professionally handle cash, credit, and check transactions. Have been previously trained in spotting counterfeit bills and credit cards, and some light accounting work add, subtract, multiply/divide while counting out my drawer at end of each shift. I’m accomplished in the scientific community, even co-organizing a science fair in 2011 as president of the Science Adventurers Club at St. Petersburg College. Education

St. Petersburg College with an AA in Biological Sciences. I’m double majoring in Marine Biology and Veterinarian assistant.

Tarpon Springs High School graduated in 2008 with a diploma with high honors.

Work Experience

Receptionist, Kidz Cutz 09/2015-01/2016 Receptionist at a kids’ hair salon. I kept records of clients calling in and making appointments, and walk-in clients as well. Maintained register transactions, kept front end clean and organized. After hours I assisted manager in cleaning up salon.

Ticketing Associate, Clearwater Marine Aquarium 05/2015-09/2015 Fast-paced customer service, upselling different admission packages by 10%; boat/behind scene tours, animal interactions & feedings. Working with POS/touch screen register, little bit of accounting work deposit at end of shift (adding how much cash/cc sales I made).

Customer Service Associate, Walgreens 11/2014-02/2015 Fast-paced customer service. Working overnights; Straightening shelves & store cleanliness. Running touch-screen register and proper money-handling, and checking for proper I.D. for selling tobacco & Alcohol products.

Head Cashier, Home Depot 06/2014-10/2014 Providing fast-paced customer service, supervising other cashiers in their training at registers, Home Depot policies, change if needed, and support In Stock, and store appearance at Front End.

Seasonal Sales Associate, Target 11/2013-02/2014 Balanced the POS, ensured the visual sales were pleasing, increased customer sales by 15%, and assisted management with goal achievements.

Volunteering, Achievements, and Clubs

Humane Society of Pinellas--Currently volunteer once a week at The Humane Society of Pinellas. I help out in the front adoption center. Assist guests with tours of facility and where to find specific animals. Light filing/paperwork, copying and printing work. Answer phones and answer all questions about humane society and their policies/procedures, Pet point computer operating system that catalogs animals that we have and are open for adoption. Record keeping of guests, adoptions, and food pantry items…also help out when we get any kind of donations, (food, beds, towels/blankets, or money).

Student Government association St. Petersburg College volunteering with SGA at certain school quad events, and community such as; Relay for Life (did this for 2 years in a row and very glad to be a part of it), Habitat for Humanity, bell ringer & distributor of turkeys/food during November for Salvation Army.

President, Science Adventurers Club--October 2011 to August 2013. Organize club efforts & volunteering events. Represent club at student government meetings. Collaborate with other club officials on key issues, and increased club awareness by 50%. Even though this was volunteering/internship--I still gained valuable experience; learning time management skills, multi-tasking, delegating with a counsel, and working with different personality types. As a club we participated in many community/beach clean-ups in Clearwater & Dunedin. As well as volunteering at a community science fair judging contest, and helping setting-up and breaking down.

At St. Petersburg College I won two certificates of excellence in the Karen Pelz Memorial Writing Contest for submitting two poems, two years in a row. In high school I was part of the Tarpon Centennial Newspaper for all 4 years in school. I participated as a staff-writer at first, than an editor, and last year worked on the layout of the newspaper.

Tarpon Springs Aquarium the whole summer of 2004 on Saturdays and Sundays cleaning fish tanks, giving educational tours, and little bit of working at the gift shop.
