Duties and Responsibilities:

1.Proficient in working with various drawings (ISO, P & ID, GAD. Etc)

2.Assist department manager and Engineering Manager with development and standards specification etc.

3.Co-ordinates with Field Engineering Team to prepare as-built drawings and piping test loops.

4.Co-ordinate the piping design activities with other disciplines (Field Engineering Team).

5.Co-ordinates with sub contractors & monitoring daily progress records.

6.Co-ordination with the Fabrication team for production & any issuance with respect to Fabrication & Installation at site/field

7.Co-ordinates with site team and QA/QC team to work on and clear Corrective Action Sheets, Technical Assurance Alert and NCR.

8.Coordinates with equipment vendor for as built equipment piping installation.

9.Coordinate and Review vendor drawing and supervise other Mechanical Engineer.

10.Verify that all the types of works carried out as per the approved procedure and plans.

11.Leading a team of Junior Engineers to identify Pipe joints, spools,supports, etc

12.Fabrication and erection various classes of piping like CS, SS & A.S. and utility services with respect to ISOMETRIC, GADs and P&ID.

13.Inspection of fabricated piping spools and to release for further works.

14.Preparation of Line History sheets for pipe weld joints.

15.Inspection of Pipe Supports.

16.Hydraulic pressure test and Air pressure test for Pipes and loops.

17.Piping co-ordination and erection as per P&ID’S and isometric drawings for a particular area along with ensuring safe work practices at job site.

18.Execution of site fabrication and erection of rack and unit piping.

19.Develop Piping Design Criteria, Specifications, Line Lists, Valve Lists, Specialty Items List

20.Having knowledge of WIN-PCS & Navisworks (3D model)

21.Hydro test package, hydro test and commissioning procedure Method and statement

22.Arrangement and presentation of Safety and Productivity tool box talks.

23.Ensure implementation of HSSE policies and plans within the area of their jurisdiction.

24.Participate in HSSE activities when required by the site manager or HSSE manager.

25.Participate in technical assurance audits.

26.Supervision of hydro tests & pre-commissioning of piping system.

27.Responsible for the application of issuing of permits to work and Risk assessment.

28.Supervision of multi discipline workforce including pipe fitter, welder, rigger, structural discipline.

29.To witness of Piping Spool, valve erection, fabrication, Torque Tightening.

30.Ensure safety requirement and directives of the safety officer on site and maintain safety on site at a high standard all time.

31.Weekly & daily progress report sends to D.G.M. & project managers.

32.Progress monitoring, Reviewing and Reporting to client/Management and taking corrective action to control the progress.

33.Attending progress review meeting with client meeting and conduct internal meets.

34.Project management including material resource planning staff supervision, appraisals and motivation working with multi-discipline team, production of weekly and daily reports.

35.Co-coordinating and follow up engineering and procurement activities including controlling & distribution of document and engineering drawing at project.

36.Prepare material requisitions for the defined bulk material. Issue material requisitions for enquiry.
