Project: Royal Oman Police – Police Stations & Special Task Forces. RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performing estimation by studying the tender drawings, BOQ and cost estimation by preparation of rate analysis comparing tender documents.

Reviewing purchase document with respect to BOQ and approving it.

Project control and Monitoring of MEP Materials by checking Material requests in order to avoid the wastages and to control surplus materials at site.

Preparing and monitoring of MEP working Drawing Schedules as per construction program to avoid the delay of work at site and Coordinate with site team for the preparation of As Built drawings and timely submission of drawings to client, in order to avoid the delay in payment.

Preparing and Monitoring the Material Approval & Procurement Schedule to ensure timely delivery of materials at sites.

L&T CONSTRUCTION – SENIOR ENGINEER MECHANICAL JULY 2011- JAN 2015 PROJECT DETAILS: Construction of ESIC Medical College and 600 Bedded Multi-Specialty Hospital

(Kollam, Kerala) for 422 crores.

PROJECT SCOPE : Construction of Hospital Blocks, Medical College, Hostel and accommodation with 1800 TR of District cool Air conditioning System, 24 no’s of Lifts, Two Substations with 5 Transformers and 4 DG sets, Fire Fighting and Fire Alarm System, Medical Gas System,10 operation Theaters, Medical equipments, Building Management System, Public Address System, Central Networking System, RO System, Sewage and Water Treatment Plants.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Engineering, Design, Estimation, Shop Drawing Preparation and Procurement of 1800TR capacity of District cool HVAC works for the project.

Understands the scope of the project with respect to HVAC and its subsequent development & implementation in the approved manner.

Preparation of Shop drawing for Central Plant room consists of 6 Air cooled chillers, 6 Primary pumps, 4 Secondary pumps, closed type expansion tank, Air separator, Pressurization unit and chilled water Piping.

Engineering and Designing of Ducting and Piping Layout based on IFC schematic drawing provided by consultant as per ASHRAE and SMACNA standards for 6 Major building like 24x7 Emergency Block(includes 10 Operation Theaters, ICU, etc Out Patient Department, Inpatient Department, Diagnostic Block, Medical College and Auditorium block

Checking and Performing Heat load calculations based on the revised architectural layout and got approval with client/consultant for execution of same.

Quantity Estimation of HVAC works, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Fighting systems for the project and submission of revised BOQ submission including any new items as per site conditions.

Involved in Cost Estimation and Procurement of MEP Materials within Project Budget (materials like Chillers, AHU, Pumps, VFD panels, Pipes, Ducts, Duct accessories, Electrical Panels, Fire Equipments, Non Medical Equipments etc

Analyze the Bidding documents and finalization of vendors through Evaluation with respect to technical as well as commercial parameters.

To coordinate with other engineering discipline and Preparation of RCP Layout for MEP Works.

Carry out necessary follow-ups with vendors/suppliers/sub contractors for timely execution/delivery of the ordered items.

Reviewing purchase documents to insure compliance with quality control requirements and to insure all MEP materials received on the project site are in compliance with contract documents and approved submittals.

Ensure and Co-ordinate with Client for architectural shop drawings and MEP related design against the actual site condition and provide solution.

Coordinate with client in certifying actual measurements in site, Preparation of detailed Measurement Book and Client Bill.
