POODLE attack against SSL v3

Presented a paper discussing about the POODLE attack of October 2014 against SSLv3 and the vulnerabilities that caused it.

Prevent measures were cited to stop the occurrence of such events and also the important security lessons that could be learnt from this incident. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

University of Central Missouri-- Project Jan 2016 – May 2016 This is a core processing application of Infynite-Goldminers which is a financial organization operating across the globe. It facilitates mutual trading among the customers subscribed to the organization. It facilitates in effective transaction, settlement & reporting for its clients. I am part of a team and I handled database administration in developing TSR application

(Transact-Settle-Report).

Responsibilities:

Created Process and persistence of the trades file received from Front office along with settlement details at client level.

Audit trail is maintained for each of the data persistence items. 3

Hard coded settlement of trades in different currencies based on client locations.

Installed and configured MySQL on Linux and Windows environments.

Handle user interface based on the web browser and the application is developed using JSP and HTML along with DHTML.

Involved in migration of MySQL(5.0.9) databases to Oracle SQL 12c using the MySQL Migration Toolkit.
