My main mission is to organize from the technical point of view the commercial offers made to our Customers. Other responsibilities include but not limited to:

The company is young and stellar achievements are yet to be touched. The limited financial resources prevent many of potential significant projects.
DC WIRE ELEKTRO 9/2010 – 6/2014
Business Development Manager
As co-founder of the Company and directly involved in executive administration and day-to-day operations. The main mission of the Company was to create the most advanced retrofit wireless automation systems for Energy Efficiency. Most of resources were allocated for this purpose.
My specific tasks, were according to my experience, setting up the:
The Company value increased constantly from a startup in 2010 at 1300000 EURO in 2015
Direct responsible with market development, acquiring new Customers, maintaining the relationships with Key Customers. The Customers portfolio included 70key Customers and 200 marginal.
Assembly operations processes for the automation panels necessary for the mostly bespoke solution designed
Supervise the design of electrical solutions, schematics, functionalities.
Provided support for the Engineering dept. in pre-design phases (measurements and topology evaluations)
Provided support to the Purchase Manager in developing strong relationships with the key suppliers; authorized directly the hiring and staff personnel
Coordinated the security and risk policy of the Company
Main achievements consist in the performance of my team, their creativity and resilience in pursuing the result. The rest of any project is filled with technicalities described as below:
a) Building control automation for Energy Efficiency. I could mention here automation and control system designed, assembled, installed and commissioned entirely in DC WIRE ELEKTRO- the Building belonging to ING Insurance Division in Bucharest, Romania. The solution is a state-of-the-art combination between wired and wireless solution for control, web enabled completely independent and capable to run in auto mode. We have used open technologies from TRIDIUM Inc for the controller part, WEMS from UK for the wireless control and Schneider electric for the monitoring and metering system. Achievements in Energy usage for lights and ventilation were significant: 25% less energy every year – the system amortization being reached in 16 months from live system.(project brief available in pdf format)
b) One of the first projects developed in our Company DC WIRE ELEKTRO was the control system for HVAC and lighting for the 2011 Mariott Berner Edition Hotel.
c) One of our Customers – OPEN ENERGI from London, one of the most successful startups in DEMAND-RESPONSE Technology, chose DC WIRE ELEKTRO as the assembly and commissioning company for their automation panels deployed in hundreds of locations all-over UK providing Demand-Response services for Grid balancing in frequency. We were proud to participate to their corner-stone projects using their technology at AGGREGATE INDUSTRY, LAFARGE-TARMAC UK, BRIDGE ALUMINUM, COSTAIN, UNIVERISTY OF EAST ANGLIA, UNITED UTILITIES, DEFRA, SAINSBURY’S and several more.(most of the Customers of Open Energi – www.openenergi.com, have use automation panels produced by DC WIRE ELEKTRO)
d) Another important project was the re-design, construction and mounting of a completely web-enabled solution of control for one of the Municipalities in SW of London – the city of WOKING. We have implemented a complete control system for public heating for retired people hostels in 29 various locations. The control was for hot/cold water pumps, intelligent temperature control, pressure control, gas burning control. The fuel savings were more than 45% in the very first year, the whole system being amortized in less than 20 months.

Personally started the Romanian subsidiary, being involved in creation, nurturing and growth of the company from scratch. The main mission of the Company is to become one of the hidden Champions in electro-industry market worldwide. Spearheaded and developed the initial structure for company’s management
Led all market development, acquiring new customers, maintaining the relationships with Key Customers. Being a fact that one of the cash generating activities was the general electrical goods distribution, setting up a sales network was one of the key tasks. In only 2 years the sales ratcheted from 0 to 4000000 EURO
Oversaw the assembly operations processes for the production. The production sector had boost from 100.000 to more than 6 million EURO at my departure in 2010.
Coordinated for ISO 9001, 18001 quality systems implementation. The implementation took about 8 months with 4 less than the industry average.
Provided support and coordination for implementation of LEAN Manufacturing concepts.
Coordination of implementation of MICROSOFT DYNAMIC AX – ERP solution for the whole company, integrating all key processes. The whole cost was reduced with 25% due to the strategy implemented.
Provided support to the Purchase Manager in developing strong relationships with the key suppliers; authorized directly the hiring and staff personnel.
Coordinated the security and risk policy of the Company
Customers portfolio:
My personal and my team’s achievement was creation and growth of a Company from 0 to a level of 7 Mio Euro TO, 165 employees, a production portfolio of 300 different products and a 11000 products portfolio of general products sale. Assisting and putting own shoulder to such a project is an achievement itself – being a changing and enriching experience. The project was successful with the immense and continuous support of Peter Bachmann – one of the most powerful and strong-skilled managers that my generation has offered.
My reporting was toward Board - mainly members of Bachmann Company, my results being monitored and auditing each year with a super-audit made by Roland-Berger Company –one of the German based subsidiary.
ROMCAB SA – Cables manufacturer 2/2000 - 3/2003
Sales Manager – Key Accounts
My mission at Romcab was to develop and grow relationships with the key Customers and acquire new ones. Parallel with this activity a second mission was to open new market channels for certain products!
Further to that I, together with Technical Dept. – have set up a series of products destined to fill certain industrial gaps and filling production capacity of the factory. The success came 2 years later – when our work showed first results!
The sales of intermediary products: copper ropes with outer diameters between 0.75 mm and 16 mm- boomed from a modest $150K per year to $2200K
The wire-drawn wires with cross-sections between 0.2sqmm and 4 sqmm raised also from approximately $1000K to $4000K
The entire success was a TEAM success, written with good and humble people whose personalities and involvement made it possible.

This Certification is still in course of achieving. The main qualification will be around the capability to design the phases of a prototype, describing the technology and assemble the strategy to produce it. Furthermore, development of skills to create the sales and marketing pitch, create the sales strategy and business strategy in achieving financing for new prototypes and new technologies.
One of the reasons I have chosen this course is connected with the necessary credentials and pre-requisites for studies continuation as Master in Engineering. Furthermore, is critical important for the new industrial paradigm to hold extended information about financing technology.
