Site-Directed Mutagenesis of Catalase HPII with Unnatural Amino Acids (Jan 2016 – Mar 2016)

Replace Catalase HPII Tyrosine 415 with unnatural amino acids aminophenylalanine and iodophenylalanine.

Express and purify catalase proteins, analyze proteins with SDS-PAGE, perform enzyme kinetic assays to compare catalytic ability of wild-type catalase and mutants. SKILLS
