I am presently employed (July 2011 to present) as a QHSE Engineer at Saipem America. “Off Shore Oil & Gas” HSE Safety Auditor / Contractor-Vendor Auditor “OHSAS 18001/ MEDIC First Aid “Instructor “ and IADC Safety RIGPASS Instructor for the off shore workers of Saipem America.

But I also have heavy construction experience as a Contract site supervisor at an International LNG Tank Construction Corporation “Aker Solutions” working on a FERC “Federal Energy Regulatory Commission” LNG Tank & Pipeline Construction Project on the Gulf of Mexico and the project is nearing completion . This is a 1.5 billion dollar LNG Project is covered by OSHA, Home Land Security, Federal Energy Commission, FERC, EPA and the United States Coastguard. I oversee that all workers and Sub Contractors meet the site safety and security requirements and control site entry by the use of guarded Entry Control points and site accountability. I returned from Iraq (April 2010) after completing (7) one year contracts for KBR as an HSE Area Safety Training Supervisor, providing OSHA and Safe Work Practice training to 72,700 multi national workers on Military Instillations in Iraq, Afghanistan, Kuwait, Dubai and the Middle East in support of KBR's LOGCAP III 2003/2010. Contract.

As the area HSE training supervisor for KBR, I manage a staff of professional HSE Instructors who conduct all aspects of HSE Training in multiple languages (Arabic, Hindi, Turkish, and English). I have worked many of the Coalition Bases in Iraq, Afghanistan and the Middle East. To include, Fire Base Phoenix Kabul Afghanistan, Bagram Air Base, Kabul Afghanistan, Kandahar Air Base Afghanistan, Camp Arifjan Kuwait, COB Adder, Iraq, Ali Air Base, Iraq, BIAP, Camp Victory, Iraq, Camp Anaconda, Iraq, Joint Base Balad and KBR Projects in Dubai UAE, Sharjah UAE, Abu Dhabi UAE, Anti-terrorism Base, Djibouti, North Africa. Soul, South Korea. Project “RIO” Rebuilding Iraqi Oil” and US Embassy at Basra, Iraq.

During my time in Iraq, I've had constant interaction with several Iraqi ministries and key Iraqi leaders at both a local and national level. This experience includes two-and-a-half years supporting USAID programs, to include working with NGOs, and two years working in Iraq’s Energy (Project Rio “Rebuilding Iraqi Oil”, and the Nations Electricity sector. My passion is people, organizations and ideas. Challenging task, I find enjoyable and rewarding.

Quality Control responsibilities during LOGCAP field assignments included complete compliance to the DoD Defense Contract Management Agency “DCMA” for Quality Control and Audit Conditions. Working directly with Defense suppliers to help ensure that Dod, Federal and Allied/NATO government supplies and services are delivered on time, at projected cost and meet all performance requirements.

Under LOGCAP, Before contract award, helped identify potential risks, select the most capable contractors and assist in the writing of contracts. After award of contracts, duties included monitoring contractors performance and management systems to ensure that cost performance and delivery schedules are in compliance with terms and conditions of the contract and work instructions.
