Addi t ional Projects

Data wrangling and Analysis on sales of vehicle services using Business intelligence tools. Finding data anomalies and error and suggesting explanations for the errors and analysis for sales of the vehicle services for a particular vehicle company. Method used – GGPLOT2 library, Data analysis, BI tools, ETL process. Tools used – R, Matlab, SQL.

Data analysis and visualization of the highest paid NBA players. Analysis and visualization of the highest paid NBA players depending upon the throw attempts per game, accuracy, playing style. Method used – Data analysis, Data wrangling, Grammar of graphics for GG2PLOT R package. Tools used – R programming, Tableau public.

License Plate Recognition.

Developed an algorithm under the guidance of Dr. Michael Manry for Character/feature extraction using Histogram, Image classifier for DFT and Ring and Wedge Feature sets then design a neural network classifier with one hidden layer and train using gradient descent and backpropagation method to classify each character into their respective classes. Technique used – Character/Feature extraction, Image classification. Software used – Matlab Growing method for Multilayer Perceptron.

A method in which the initial network starts with one hidden layer with one hidden unit. The network is trained until the number of iterations is equal to number of unknown’s. We then add additional hidden units, with weights from inputs to hidden layer and to outputs and initializing the new input weights randomly and continue with the training till the hidden units are twice as number of inputs. Alternate method for initializing a neural network. Applications – can be used as approximation problems such as Stock Market time series forecasting, Currency Exchange Rate Prediction. Technique used - Gradient descent, HWO, MOLF, OLS. Tools used – Matlab, Statistical and machine learning toolbox, neural networks toolbox.
