Chief Information Officer

Strategic senior management team member with tactical approach regarding the delivery of Business Solutions across companies multiple SBU’s. Manage corporate Information Technology for eleven facilities throughout the United States, including IT systems and technical architecture, security and communications solutions (VOIP), applications, global outsourcing services and budgeting. Reengineered QPSI Informational Technology Department eliminating an older vendor based support model resulting in a three-year cost savings of $1.5MM.

Migrated all of QPSI Network Servers to a Cloud Based solution

Managed the designed and implementation of new MPLS Network based on a Fiber Backbone at all locations.

Managed the design and implementation of VOIP technology at all seven QPSI facilities across the US.

Implemented EDI solution to manage approx. 30MM per month of sales, invoices, PO, GR, and release transactions between P&G, Rock Tenn, and QPSI. These 6500 monthly transactions were previously all manual with a financial support staff of three individuals. Yearly cost savings of over $175K.

Senior Director, Global Business Applications

Strategic senior management team member with tactical “Hands On” approach regarding the delivery of Business Solutions. Manage NY Information Technology Central Service Business Applications which include all financial applications, Title Management, Supply Chain applications, Rights and Royalties systems, Help Desk operations and the CPSC solution.

Designed and implemented the CPSC solution within 45 days to address new Congressional legislation requiring the testing of lead and other components in all children’s toys and books. Designed the business processes and upon their approval designed the technical specifications and WEB site to report on compliant. Macmillan Publishers was the only major publisher to meet the requirements of the Congressional law by February 10, 2009. Used Pearl, MySQL as primary tools for the software solution build.

Managed the implementation of the Hyperion HFM upgrade from the Enterprise version including ESSBASE across Macmillan seven (7) SBU’s. This HFM implementation was a major corporative initiative that had multiple “Start/Stop” projects in the past.

Implemented SalesForce.com in Macmillan larges business unit to replace outdates ACT! Solution. Initial implementation will be over 120 users and will provide a new WEB based customer ordering system in addition to a companywide CRM solution.

Management responsibility of Application Development and Help Desk including vendor consulting and contracts. Oversight responsibility for Hosted Outsourcing. The new eBook business has generated approx. $35MM in new business in less than 8 months.
