Utilize the required tools to conduct troubleshooting such as, Amp probe, volt com, and continuity tester to determine whether the line side of the cable has been broken, wasn’t properly hooked up, a short in the line or whether the device it is hooked up to may be defaulted.

Operate all types of power tools to test equipment such as, Sawzall, Hammer Drill, Band Saw, Electric Drill, etc. Operate all hand tools for instance, Screw Driver, Hammer, Torpedo Lever, Pliers, Nut Driver, and Tape Measure, etc. Examine and comprehend the prints and schematics.

Read and understand the code by the N.E.C. or state and county.

Run pipe, ridge, PVC or EMT. Ability to bend pipe – off sets 90 degrees saddles. Run circuits and proper voltage and wire connections for electrical systems.

Run SEC cable or Ser when required.

Wire gauge 22 ga. – 1,000 kcmil., amperes on different wire size. Familiar with the different types of wire and were it is suitable to use at and what condition it can be used – THNN, THWN, SEC, NMC, ROMEX, MI cable, ect. Wire motor controls, panels, switchgears, transformers, lights, receptacles, switches – single poles and three way, contractors, disconnectors, etc. Use meter, Amp-Probes, Volt Meter, Mega-Watts Meters, etc. Install electrical panels, switchgears, and bus ways.
