1) OpenStack Monitoring Tool (Fall 2015 - Spring 2016). Tool to monitor the health of OpenStack private cloud infrastructure. Helps system administrator to quickly find the issues with the infrastructure. Java, Node.js, OpenStack, ElasticSearch, LogStash, Angularjs, shell scripting.

2)Event Recommendation Engine (Spring 2016). Create a tool to recommend events to the user based on user similarity; events being attended by user’s friends; locality of user and event. Implemented user-to-user and item-to-item collaborative filtering using Apache Mahout. Java, Mahout, Hadoop, Mapreduce, Maven.

3) Spam Filter (Spring 2016). Naive Bayes based spam filter to classify emails. Implemented naive bayes algorithm in Java and in Apache Spark. Java, Apache Spark, Hadoop, Mapreduce, Apache Oozie.

4) SnapChat-ish Application (Spring 2015). Distributed backend system for a Snapchat-ish application on top of Netty framework. Implemented Raft Consensus algorithm for Leader Election and Log Replication in a cluster of five nodes. Shared images across clusters. Java, Netty, Google Protobuf, MySQL.

5) Sparta Share (Spring 2015). An android application to share images with friends. Can capture, upload, share and view images. Android, OAuth for twitter and facebook registration, Built.io.

6) TruckStop (Fall 2014). Web application to find food trucks. The user can search food trucks as per cuisine. Food truck owners can publish menu and current location. Node.js, MongoDB, Google maps, HTML5.
