Job Summary:-

1-Assesses, evaluate, management & follow up the patients with Communication disorders.

2-Assessment of cognitive abilities for patients with psychological & Behavioral disorders.

3- Evaluating personality traits, quantities and / or qualitative analysis to The whole personality with projective & objective techniques. 4- Giving a diagnostic impression by using a valid & reliable Psychological testing.

5-Design & applying programs to develop Behavioral / cognitive skills of children with Special Needs.

6-{Behavioral, cognitive & emotional} therapy for children with behavioral disturbances {Autism including autistic features (children at risk), ADHD}.

7- Single Case study; Clinically & Statistically.

8- Apply the {ABA} Applied Behavioral Analysis Technique for the treatment the autistic child.

9- Psychological & parental counseling for the autistic child &Attention Deficit with Hyperactive Disorder{ ADHD}.

Duties and Responsibilities:-

*Assessing and evaluating the language abilities of the child to determine the points of strength and weakness for each child with delayed language.

* To make speech therapy training for the children with delayed language development to enrich the size of vocabularies and deep of meaning, and helping them to acquire the following:-

A-Semantic [language comprehension]

B-syntax [the rules of sentence]

C-prosody [phonology]

D-pragmatics [the social use of language]

* Helping the children to acquire General Language Stimulation { GLS } from their real surrounding environment in one hand, and making counseling for parents to explain how to deal with their child in a real life situations in the other hand .

The first goal for rehabilitation is :

is dealing directly with the patient and applying language and articulation tests { pre and post therapeutic training }and analyze the linguistic profile to know the points of strength and weakness, also the aspects to help completing them ..

The second goal is :

Through knowing the educational/cultural and social background by asking the parents how far they extend and enrich the environmental stimulations at home..

Delayed Language Development Cases:

First, specify the child's academic, social / adaptive intelligence quotient {IQ} then plan a program to develop his/ her cognitive skills in parallel with his / her language skills according to each child's language profile.

If the child suffers from behavioral disorders, he should be treated individually according to the protocols of each case for example: Autism, Attention Deficit with Hyperactive Disorders {ADHD}.

Diagnosing the degree of Nasal Resonance in Cleft Palate patients through the computer; {Nasometer program}, which provides the possibility of making exercises and following up.

Making intensive language stimulation training for the dysphasia cases which resulted from CVA cerebral vessels injuries, to improve their language, through the dysphasia test and speech analysis.

* Rehabilitation of individuals with neuromotors disorders (dysarthria).

*Speech therapy of individuals with phonological errors; Affecting Phonology.

* Training the stuttering cases {fluency disorders} to speak fluently according to the intensive and frequency as per what is followed in these cases.

*Making voice exercises to improve the quality of voice {pitch & loudness} for dysphonic patients due to organic and / or functional causes.

* Rehabilitation the patients with swallowing disorders {Dysphagia} for infant – adult with neuromotors disorders.

* communicative rehabilitation for the children & adult with post operation cochlear implant.

* participates with training the students to qualify them for speech therapy and teach them the techniques & management for the patients with the communication disorders .

* All the mentioned above techniques has implemented in a wide of mastery clinical deep specialized experience.
