Scope: Interior renovations to existing base building for new 10,200 sf. Food plant including 70,000 sf. of cooler space.

While guidelines and schematics had been established for the space, completed the design and engineering for the renovations and also managed the permit application process. Responsible for the renovation and construction work required to ready the space for Delmonte’s operations, including numerous large coolers throughout the plant area.

Other work completed included concrete curbs for the coolers, urethane floor topping in work areas to increase durability and longevity of the floor, new electrical and mechanical work to support processing and packaging equipment, a new exterior waste water treatment building to process waste water from plant, as well as kitchen and office renovation work.

Deliverables: Finished base building, commissioned utilities, Building occupancy permit

Responsibility: Assigned as a project manager; responsible for delivering the project scope on time, on budget, with CFIA approved quality.

Including all new stucco exterior and sign, new pavement through the parking lot, and all new interior finishing, including flooring, ceiling and walls and interior display millwork.

Deliverables: Renovate the existing outlet to give it a new look with new technologies and modern fit out fixtures.

Work completed included a new elevator and two new escalators, new drainage lines under the floor, new Mechanical and electrical work, as well as necessary structural reinforcement to support new HVAC, elevator and escalators.

Deliverables: Renovate the existing space to incorporate new interior furniture/ fixture layout design.

Responsibility: Assigned as a project manager; responsible for delivering the project scope on time, on budget. Project hand over / transfer to Interior fit out General contractor.
