Project Description:

An IP (Internet Protocol) PBX (Private branch exchange) is a business telephone system designed to deliver voice or video over a data network and interoperate with the normal PSTN (Public Switched Telephone Network). Vertical Wave IP PBX environment provides unified communication with applications, such as desktop call management, call recording, voicemail notification services, and Fax integration, iOS Mobility, View Point and Wavenet. Working in this environment helped me understand various intricacies of telecom domain in general and in-depth knowledge of automated/manual testing.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Performing Regression testing.

Complete beta-testing process of Service Packs, HF validation

Authored and executed Auto IT scripts for automation testing.

Authored Test Cases for new features and enhancements.

Performed Build Verification Testing (BVT) on various ITSPs with scripting environment using VTS; a custom scripting language to test complete Call Environment on Live Trunks connected to various service providers.

Description:

This project is aimed at validating SNMP MIBS on SM appliances. User will load General MIBS and Enterprise Specific MIBs to SM appliance and SNMP manager simultaneously and test the SNMP Queries on all supported Versions. SysMaster Trap receiver is a program for monitoring SNMPv1, SNMPv2c and SNMPv3 TRAP notification messages and SNMPv2c and SNMPv3 INFORM notification messages sent by arbitrary devices on the network. It lets you manage received notifications in various ways and includes mechanisms for informing users about the received SNMP notifications.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Snmp agent testing on sysmaster devices It includes collecting the management information from the device and makes it available to the manager.

Implementation of full SNMP protocol on the device

Storing and retrieving of management information as defined in the MIB.

Testing the features of SNMP on all the three versions V1, V2, V3.

Validating the traps according to the required standard.

Testing the feature of advanced warning when VPN routing tables are approaching or exceed their capacity.

Validating the SNMP community string which defines the relationship between the SNMP manager and the agent
