Senior Engineering Manager, Physical Design 2000 – Present

Consistent high performance led to progress from Engineer to Manager to Senior Engineering Manager.

Led the physical design and development activities of Telecom Network Elements (Optical and DWDM platforms) using local and global team (13 direct reports).

Achieved breakthrough product cost reduction (40%-60%) through design innovation, process/material changes and global sourcing.

Project level scheduling, budgeting (~$2.5M annually), and design level requirements development for conformance to product and industry/regulatory standards (Telcordia, ETSI, FCC, UL, etc.)
