As the Controller for two business units, I have oversight for all accounting and reporting. I supervise three employees within the department. My responsibilities include GAAP financial compliance of the business units' financial statements for both the management of the units and the corporate office. I am also responsible for accounts payable, billing, accounts receivable, payroll, inventory, and monthly close. I monitor operating expenses and work with production managers to control those expenses. I also design and provide analytical reports for the business unit presidents and production managers, so that they may better understand the financial performance of the business units.

As the cost and reporting manager for the Components Division of NCI Group LLP, I was responsible for the accounting and financial reporting functions of several companies within this $30m annual sales division My responsibilities included developing and maintaining financial reports for operational as well as corporate financial managers. I maintained the budgeting and forecasting process for each company within the division. During the close process, I analyzed revenue, cost, and expenses and their relative variances to the budget and forecast. I managed the integrity of the Oracle general ledger and accounting system for the entire accounting department, developing reports and data queries for the department, that help others analyze financial performance. I developed an integration method to input data from one information system to another, as well as, several other special projects. I worked specifically with our Metal Depot Company, to develop and improve the reporting of financial information, assisting in financial performance improvement, and to develop a financial model for expanding the company from six stores to seventy- two.
