Responsible for the Tool Crib administration: including but not limited to, area organization, condition and general oversight of the stores arena. Lead the cost reduction projects manage MROP, warranty, asset studies as related to inventory, executed satellite cribs through the site and effectively managed the manpower associated with the operation. As the Tool Crib Manager I interact with customers to map, identify, catalog the spare part requirements for equipment utilized at the site and deploy the spares in the crib system.

Additional duties also include utilizing the EAM / CMMS, Maintenance System which includes the machine and tooling specific documents, performance evaluation, future modifications related to the performance, kitting of part requirements as related to work orders, and cost of the machine and manpower. Continuous improvement skills are used to lead and participate on teams to process and map interruptions or failures, determine root cause, develop corrective action paths and present the findings. Key operational responsibilities consist of but are not limited to; Prepare specifications and quotations for labor, tooling and equipment to support the business unit requirements. I utilize the EAM/CMMS maintenance administration software (MARCAM) for Work to lead associates on a daily basis while embracing the continuous improvement processes for the refinement of the stores crib and EAM / CMMS functions.

As the tool crib manager I write and conduct training for the operation of the stores crib and any special projects. I have supervision skills, presentation skills, general management and cost controls. As the tool crib manager I am responsible for tool crib control. Issues and receiving.

Inventories Cycle counts as well as physical inventory processes and establishment of new line items. Tool crib 5's and visual control. Machine and tooling evaluations as well as the kitting of work order demands as related to service parts.

As planner scheduler my duties included planning all job repairs for the maintenance department ensuring that engineers have all necessary parts, manuals, and access to machinery in order to affect repairs. Work with other departments in scheduling appropriate time in which to perform repairs as not to affect scheduling any longer than necessary. My buyer duties included, but were not limited to:

Providing purchase orders for parts that are requested by engineers in order to repair machinery.

Getting vendors approved through corporate purchasing, enabling purchase orders to be placed.

Receiving parts, once parts received ensuring parts were added to inventory. Matching invoices with purchase orders and processing paperwork, enabling accounts payable to process them.

I had left Lamb's in 1992 to pursue a better opportunity. Mr. Lamb contacted me regarding a mechanical position he had available. I returned as a mechanic working on positive displacement blowers, air compressors, vacuum pumps, centrifugal fans, and various other equipment as necessary. Subsequently, do to my work ethic and knowledge, I was moved up to managing inventory which led to an inside sales position. Along with this new position, I was responsible for the supervision and scheduling of all work in the mechanical repair shop. Duties consisted of researching parts needs and purchasing those parts through authorized representatives and/or factory direct. Ensured mechanics had proper product literature to perform their tasks. That position has ultimately led to Sales Manager for outside sales and marketing.

I was hired as one of the first 48 maintenance mechanics during start-up phase of this facility.

Primary duties included but were not limited to overseeing of construction contractors handling installation of equipment plant wide. After start-up, primary duties included but were not limited to maintenance, repair and refurbishment of plant equipment. This led to my becoming responsible for the maintenance of the L-TEC CM-58 hot scarfing machine, which was a critical component in the steel making process and was the sole equipment of its kind company wide. Other duties including weld repair, manufacture of special tooling to accomplish job specific tasks, operation of mobile cranes and various other pieces of mobile equipment to accomplish assigned tasks.
