Regional Engineering Manager – Americas, 2011 - 2016

Directly managed the operations/engineering teams in four of the company’s manufacturing sites. Tasked with directing all internal production sites in the Americas region and for providing direct support to the Markham, Canada, Twinsburg, OH, Mexico City, Mexico, and Sao Paulo, Brazil production facilities; maintain Global Engineering Network with focus on Americas region. Assist and lead Mechanical and Process Engineering related coordination efforts of four subsidiaries in the Americas. Serve as the liaison between Corporate Industrial Engineering and subsidiaries. Lead and manage multiple mechanical and process engineering projects that impact the subsidiaries. Coordinate, support and project manage local projects/activities for standardization/optimization, configuration management, sustaining engineering, capacity, and capability management. Consolidate local/regional investments during the budgeting process. Hold KPI responsibility for identification, and the realization of saving potentials between region/group; consolidate project-related development activities within the Americas region. Collaborate with machine suppliers to develop Requirement Specifications for new or modified equipment needs. Collaborate with various departments to drive continuous improvements projects.

Manufactured, personalized, and distributed secure plastic cards including financial cards, IDs, transit and SIM cards, working with various substrates. Worked with various regulatory agencies including Visa, MC, and Amex, as well as with local, national, and international government agencies. Ensured that all work was aligned with applicable regulations such as FIPS, PKI Credentialing, and SAS.
