Checking of engine mounted sensors, PT100’s, switches, thermocouples, transducers, main bearings, HT-LT Sensors, booster unit, Radiator motors, ventilation fans and diode monitoring unit etc through PLC operation.

Relay testing of generator protection relays for over current, over voltage and reverse power with FREJA 300 relay testing unit.

Meggering of alternator, winding and structure inspection, connection checking of CT’s & PT’s.

Fault rectification, taking readings of Spamose (speed measuring system) and maintenance report writing.

Achievements: Involved in the meeting of final commissioning activities of Pakistan Ordinance Factory (POF) Wah Cantt. Power Plant Islamabad, Pakistan. It was consisting of 10 units of W 220SG Wartsila gas driven generator of 5MW rating each. Designating the operation and placement of control panels, circuit breakers, routes of cable trenches and positioning of Earth Pit etc.
