Synopsis

This project deals with developing a web based Insurance product suite which will provide service delivery across all line of business (property & casualty, individual & group life, reinsurance). As a Programmer Analyst my role involves developing and customizing various reports comprising of complex logic based on the client requirements using PL-SQL stored procedures, functions and packages. Loading huge amount of Claims and Policies provided by various Insurance companies into GIC system. Maintaining a Reporting Database, which is a replica of the Transaction database with few structural changes. Client is provided full access to Reporting Database. Loading of data from transaction database to Reporting database is one of the key jobs.

Synopsis

NATIONAL SALES SYSTEM INTEGRATION (NSSI) is a application using Oracle PL/SQL as the core technology (Java J2EE as the adjacent one for front-end reporting) to track the performance of the bank sellers and eventually calculating the bonus. This application is developed for Sales Reporting platform, Lloyds Trust Savings Bank (LTSB), Bank of Scotland (BOS) and Halifax banking and financial sectors. Reports where data is fed from different data files loaded via UNIX and processed (validated and calculated) using store procedure, packages, triggers, cursors, tables and views. These reports display the points allocated to the bank sellers for every transaction he/She makes, calculate and displays his performance and provides him bonus and promotion based on business requirements.

These reports help the Stake holders of the bank to keep a track of the performance of its individual sellers as well as the whole branch (which is also displayed in reports).
