• Crawled and deduplication of weapons images used Apache Nutch and Tika.

• Built an Apache Solr based search engine, developed ranking algorithms and NER for weapons datasets.

• Created a web analytics dashboard using D3.js widgets to interact and visualize the weapon data indexed in Apache Solr.

• Used FacetView based search interface for faceted and free-text search. E-Commerce Website Development July – August 2015

The project was to develop an online store’s client-side website with shopping cart, limited-time sales and recommendation features, and a Web-based information system for the company to manage the information of users, items and orders.

• Implemented front end using dynamic HTML: using jQuery, forwarding AJAX call to update web page.

• Used CSS3 Media Queries and Fluid Grid to design Responsive Web.

• Used CodeIgniter framework on the back end. The web server run PHP and MySQL and responded JSON data. Distributed Hash Table Simulation in C Language January – May 2015 The project is to simulate a distributed hash table by building a 3-servers system where each server only contains part of the hash table. Clients connect to the servers like recursive DNS.

• Simulated two clients using multithreading. Implemented UDP sockets for clients to communicate with servers.

• Implemented TCP sockets for servers to communicate with each other. WORK EXPERIENCE
