Led ELA practices as an Instructional Coach for the English Department for the last two years,

Facilitated the interactive learning process in a classroom setting, utilizing Ohio Learning Content Standards in English/Language Arts, Fine Arts, and Technology

Teacher leader and design and implementation of the framework for the creation of the Euclid Academy of the Arts(2004)

Had students enter a national script-writing contest with Scenarios USA and submit scripts, with a finalist in 2014.

Implemented a technology focus to the evaluation of student work with technology-based tools, including mandating that students submit essays through Turnitin.com and led a school-wide purchase for all teachers in our school.

Wrote and received a grant from the Martha Holden Jennings foundation for $2500.00 over a two year period to improve the technical products and professional resources available for students to create films to demonstrate the use of voice to establish their place and power.

Instructed students in Film and Media for nineteen years, incorporating new technologies for their use, purchasing state of the art tools to enhance student products, and increasing mastery of student filmmaking at the novice level.

Encouraged critical thinking and persuasive argumentation with the creation of mock trial debates for over three years.

Created a career awareness program that brought in six speakers during the curricular year to address the expressed interests of students and expose them to modern applications of relevant curriculum.

Revised the Film and Media curriculum and created a movie-making component that instructs students in the creation, direction, editing and production of their films.

Use of Social Media and web technology to advertise student work and increase student engagement in the curriculum
