Sr. Handover Engineer –Operations Technical Support Department

Played as a focal point for Qatargas (Operation Technical Support department) before handover to the asset (Ras Laffan Terminal Operator (RLTO) for handover activities including pre-commissioning and commissioning and completions from external party’s projects in terms of coordination with projects teams (PMT) and their EPC contractors and subcontractors. Propose and implements actions if needed. Communicates with other projects team and QG internal disciplines, to facilitate and execute handovers. Leading and supervise technical follow up’s and interface for any pending issues with all handover parties involved (Project PMT teams and their EPC contractors and their subcontractors. Track missing issues on handover check sheets.

Make key decisions on behalf of QG OTS & RLTO relating to actual handovers & deliverables to be prioritized, support system requirements and identifies resources to be supplemented or added.

Develops and “owns” QG OTS/ RLTO handover procedure ORP (Operations Readiness Plan) and familiarizes all parties (PMT/EPC contractor /Asses owners) handing over to QG OTS & RLTO process and QG acceptance criteria.

Established and leads joint handover planning working groups with all 3rd parties’ projects (PMT/EPC/Asset), to manage handover requirements.

Interacts with and influences management in QG OTS and RLTO, and external groups (Projects PMT’s and their EPC contractors and subcontractors on how to achieve flawless handovers over including pre-commissioning and commissioning of multibillion dollar Projects/ facilities (HIA Jet A1, SPPS ph. 1, AlKaraana petrochemicals project, Al-Sajeel petrochemicals project, LAB (Linear Alkyl Benzene project), Onshore Flow Assurance project (FAP), RLGAP ( Ras Laffan Gasoline & Aromatics project, ORYX GTL (Offplot tank farm handovers ). Served as the initial technical point of contact with other share facilities owner for interfacing issues with regards to share facilities.

As a focal point for handover activities team, I was in charge for Technical follow up’s for bending handover technical issues to QG RLTO /EPC contractors, based on drawings and other documentations and handovers, materials, and MOC’s for Common Condensate Storage and loading area (CCSL ) which includes Unit 73 (QG refinery area now), and CLPG Storage and loading area . I also lead RasGas team for material handover items for Condensate storage phase 1 (U73) and also other shared facilities materials. I involved on all handover planes and meeting and process since RasGas start handed Common Offplot facilities
