Custodian (RW5) 2009-Present

Benjamin Banneker High School

Supports and adjusts cleaning plan around special events, and programs;

Coordinates and assigns the daily duties of all evening building service crewmembers;

Conducts hands-on training with building service crewmembers;

Secures school facilities and complies with all Safety & Security guidelines; effectively operates building alarm system;

Is on call to respond to alarms situations after hours at all times;

Prepares work orders, supply inventories, and other tasks as assigned;

Moves and sets up furniture to support all school functions;

Contact and communicated with the Athletic Director, and staff, on a regular basis;

Completed pre and post season inventories of equipment and uniforms;

Runs team practices; teaches offensive and defensive concepts; oversees drills; provides group and one-on-one instruction; assists in player development; remains informed on student athlete's academic progress;

Attends pre and post season meetings as scheduled by the director of athletics;

Submits rosters, medical forms, parent permission forms, practice schedules and scrimmages to the Athletic Director, assist in verifying student-athlete eligibility;

Monitor athlete academic progress and attendance records;

Reports scores and results to the athletic director;

Participates in awards and school recognition programs;

Reports unsafe practice or game facilities and providing locker room supervision before and after practice and games;

Establishes rules of conduct and sportsmanship for the team members and being sure all athletes are treated fairly and equitably, and are involved in the total school program;

Assists in overseeing the conditioning and weight training program and provide proper instruction while ensures student-athletes safety;

Began as a member of the maintenance department repairing cleaning equipment, ordering
