Support aftermarket sales in regards to legacy products. Reviewd technical specifications, consolidated requirements and worked with manufacturing and procurement to provide products that met those requirements. Provided technical and startup support for Weir pump and cyclone installations regardless of location. Additional achievements / contributions:

• Provided support for consolidation of facilities.

• Re-wrote submersible pump product manuals to comply with global standards. Pump Product Managerrrr Manage Hardrock Mining (7/7 /201*-**-**-**--3/2015) Responsible for the Product Management and Marketing for all Weir products sold into the Hard Rock Mining industry. Responsible for the day to day engineering functions related to the standard product offering, vertical cantilever, submersible and end suction centrifugal pumps, under the Hazleton brand. Directly responsible for three designers, scheduling and prioritizing their workloads. As a group we maintain these product lines, create bills of materials for new orders, re-design and expand the product lines as directed and maintaining/improving product costs through VA-VE techniques. Additional duties included responsibility for cyclones and cyclone cluster design. • Achieved a 30% reduction in costs associated with procuring and building one of the Hazleton submersible product lines through the establishment of a multifunctional Value Engineering program.

• Developed ceramic lined cyclone with urethane housing.

• Developed methodologies to streamline the analysis of cluster designs for environmental issues in accordance with the International Building code.

• Coordinated the rationalization of jet and centrifugal products after the acquisition of Aermotor. These efforts eliminated component and motors, yielding higher performing products with increased margins.

• Designed and coordinated the development of a gas engine driven self-priming pump. The design of this product took into account the requirements of two separate divisions of the company. First years sales exceeded $1.6 million in new business.

• Evaluated and consolidated motor SKU’s resulting in the elimination of 100 motors. Project Engineer (8/1996-1996 -10/2002)

Responsible for maintaining and enhancing the large centrifugal pumps built in Grand Island, Nebraska and the small centrifugal pumps built in Delavan and Mexico. Additional Addi tional achievements / contributions:

• Developed and coordinated a complete retest program for all of the large centrifugal pumps in order to publish the correct performance values for the product.

• Restructured bills of materials to include components like packaging that had just been captured in overhead.
