A Study On The Effect Of Industrial Wastes As A Replacement to Cement And Fine Aggregate In Concrete Interlocking Paver Blocks – M.Tech Thesis

This thesis is an attempt to study the suitability of use of industrial wastes in the manufacture of Interlocking Paver Blocks. Use of industrial wastes like Ground granulated blast-furnace slag, Waste glass powder and Quarry dust in the production of concrete has shown potential to be an effective replacement to conventional materials.

“Soil Nailing Technique For Slope Stabilization” at AEC in 2012

Soil nailing technique is an effective and economic way of soil stabilization that requires very less time for construction compared to conventional earth retaining structures. This technique is relatively new to the coastal region with high rainfall. The merits and demerits of adopting this method of soil stabilization are studied.
