Internally used by our team to automatically do and verify the prerequisite validation before and after upgrading the subsidiary and hence save the enough time

String search utility :->

Any string and library we will enter to search, this utility will list out the programs where it has been used.

Duplicate records search and deletion utility :->

Any files user will enter, this utility will give an option to display the duplicated records and will also help to delete the same keeping only one entry in the file.

Other utilities were logical file analysis, DASD usage alarm which was more often used based on the periodic request by the user.

This was evergreen project where the main focus was to save paper and hence cost. In Canada we have some dedicated queues for various bank branches and which are connected with Xerox printer, so as soon as report is generated in the out queue it gets printed via Xerox printer. After this project went live we monitored all the spools which were going to out queues and were in our scope. We send such spools to vendor after converting them to physical files via CD send. Vendor merged the files into PDF format and then send the same to the respective branch instead of printing reports directly.

In phase I if a customer do a deposit of cheque via ATM then reduce the hold of the bank from the customer account by a predefined amount say by 100$ immediately on the next working day of the bank. In phase II we restricted the partial release for a particular customer based on the no of transactions in a particular day and independent of the amount for that day.
