Informatica is used as the ETL tool for transforming data from different sources and loading into the Velocity databases.

UCM is about handling Microsoft search engine Bing's data. The search data (both structured and unstructured) comes in different formats from different devices and gets stored in the ADL (Azure Data Lake). ADL is the platform to handle bigdata in Microsoft similar to Hadoop. USQL (Unified SQL) is the Microsoft’s new programming language used to deal with the data that lies in the ADL cloud. All the data first gets staged (loaded) into ADL and gets cleansed and necessary transformations are carried out and business rules gets applied to the data. This data is then used to generate reports by various reporting methodologies like Excel, SSRS, mails, PDF's etc.

Responsibilities:

Participated in migrating the existing traditional SQL application into Microsoft cloud ADL.

Participated in research and analysis of the new programming language USQL for handling data within the cloud.

Created USQL scripts from the existing SQL scripts as a part of the project to handle the data that lies inside the Microsoft cloud Azure.

This project deals with upgrade of different technologies where SQL database is upgraded from 2005 to 2008R2.

Designed and Developed necessary scripts to modify the SQL code as per SQL server version 2008 R2 to handle the deprecated and discontinued features of 2005.

Using Product Activation (PA) data, RTS calculates reward payments for program participants actively enrolled in referral programs.
