Quality Assurance Inspector

Extensive knowledge of Quality Assurance principles, methods, and processes, Aerospace Propulsion systems and Principles of operations, Avionics and electrical systems.

Scheduled and performed quality assurance inspections and in process on aircraft structures and propulsion major subassemblies, including fuel cells, fuel distribution systems, mechanical, electrical, electro-mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic parts, components, integrated complex egress/escape systems, environmental control systems, oxygen and cryogenics systems, and fire suppression systems.

Recorded and documented production and test anomalies and outcomes via Optimized-Organizational Maintenance Activity (Naval Aviation Maintenance) database. As a Quality Assurance Inspector I have routinely observed technical operations and offered my guidance and/or serve as an additional technical resource ensuring mission success. Executive oversight and cross-functional program leadership responsibility for a staff of 250 personnel, 18 pilots, and 13 Naval aircraft with a combined annual budget of $63M.

Coordinate global activities and programs across, operations, maintenance, safety, supply chain. Distribute quarterly production schedules or work orders to departments. Confer with established personnel, vendors, or customers to coordinate production or shipping activities and to resolve complaints or eliminate delays.

Requisitioned and maintained inventories of material or supplies necessary to meet production demands. Track and arrange for delivery, assembly or distribution of activity supplies or parts to expedite flow of materials and meet production schedules.
