My job profile was to aid with the Development and maintenance of Information Systems for the restaurant which was a main food supplier for many of the surrounding Companies and Businesses. We used SQL server 2008, MS Office Applications and open version Sales System to record and maintain customer details. Also occasionally provided with Sales reports though SSRS. Responsibilities:

Help with the analysis of the Company System requirements which we did by designing the respective DFDs and ERDs. Then we created databases for the required entities in the normalized form.

Most of the suppliers simply used Excel or nothing, we had data sources in the form of paper which had to be transformed to Digital so that it can be stored in our Database format.

Maintain the Information Flow from Store Sales system and the external Data flow without any issues and provide support.

Enterprise Architecture and Networking:

Tools Used: MS SQL Server 2012 environment, SSRS, Visio Designed a real-time Database system using MS SQL Server and MS Access to extract real-time information from multiple sources to help the analysts of the Procurement Function to improve the Quality of the packages delivered to the company. Generate reports on the Quality findings through the use of SSRS.

Information Systems Quality:

Tools Used: MS Access, PIESCES, Visio, Smartsheet, MS Excel, DFD, ERD Designed an Information System for a Retail Store which had multiple issues with its existing system such as data redundancy, Data flow problems, data integrity problems and security issues. We analyzed the existing ERDs and DFDs and designed new ones which passed the Feasibility analysis, thereby solving the problems.

Designed a Webpage and released it in the World Wide Web through the university server.

IT Strategies:

Tools Used: MS SQL Server, Visual Studio, MS ACCESS Designed an IT System to enable a sharing economy for Dresses and Jewelries. We used MS SQL Server to create multiple databases for each party of the sharing economy which would be linked to the website where the trade occurs. The system was designed in such a way that data redundancy was nonexistent since the tables and databases were normalized. We also created various Forms and Reports to aid the Business.
