Issue to all site personnel a site HSES booklet or card, noting the main HSE and security requirements.

Monitor the duties and controls detailed by the Site HSES Plan, pertaining to health, safety, the environment and security requirements to ensure continuous compliance.

Review safe working method statements, and risk assessments produced by the construction contractors.

Attend site safety committee meetings as and when required.

Conduct training sessions with the field supervision on matters such as HSES performance, safety and environmental legislation, permits to work etc.

Aware of the emergency procedures, plans and emergency assembly points.

Advise the field supervision on matters relating to HSES and participate in tool box talks with the site labour.

Inspect the construction contractors• plant, tools and equipment prior to use and ensure relevant certification is correct, current and available.

Monitor waste management for proper control in particular with regard to hazardous waste disposal by the construction contractors, and elevate any non-compliance to the senior HSES responsible person.

Supervise (where required) and monitor security arrangements at the site entrance, exit and at the workplace to ensure compliance with security arrangements.

Maintain regular communication with construction Home Office HSES operations.
