Senior Environmental Test Technician & Acting Property Coordinator
Operate, maintain, and ensure readiness of cryo or diffusion pumped thermal/vacuum vessels, temperature/humidity chambers, vibration/acoustic chambers, and mechanical impulse pyro shock (MIPS) testing equipment to carry out environmental testing activities. Operate Varian Helium Mass Spectrometer Leak Detectors and associated detection techniques. Assist with calibrating various chamber controllers and electronic instruments in Environmental Calibration Lab. Plan, implement, enforce, and evaluate effectiveness of facility efforts to improve environmental impact and occupational health/safety while minimizing costs.
