Small startup dedicated to producing an advanced applicant tracking system with transparent quantitative measurements of job and culture matching for candidates and employers to reduce turnover and increase job search effectiveness. Performed front and back end web development as the second member of a two person dev-team. This entailed front end programming in HTML 5, CSS, Javascript, jQuery, and Twitter Bootstrap, back end development in PHP on a LAMP stack using the DolphinPHP social media framework followed by the CakePHP rapid development framework with version control managed by Atlassian BitBucket.

Accelerated the development of FitIn’s first live beta to launch within 30 days of taking on the web development role.

Contributed to the decision to change the web framework from DolphinPHP and CakePHP. Reason for Leaving: Startup failed to acquire funding and collapsed. Florida Institute of Technology Heliophysics Lab Melbourne, FL Research Assistant: Software Developer and Data Analyst 2012 2014 Small plasma physics lab in the Florida Institute of Technology Physics Departments. Studies include plasma related phenomena on the surface of the sun using computational and observational tools. Performed computational research in plasma propulsion physics and heliophysics as a member of a small team. Heliophysics research included modeling and analyzing plasma eruptions and jets emitted by mini-sigmoid activity on the surface of the Sun via satellite image processing and three dimensional data analysis. This included programming in Python and IDL; image processing with Mayavi and SAOImage DS9. All work was done on Linux Fedora, Ubuntu, and Windows platforms.

Assisted in the theoretical development, simulation, and modeling of a patent pending space based plasma engine with propulsion characteristics exceeding or meeting NASA and Ad Astra's VASIMR drive.

Presented findings of the spaced based plasma engine in the Spring 2014 Northrop Grumman Senior Design Showcase.

Wrote python software to automatically detect plasma eruptions from satellite data and produce relevant statistics.
