Research Experience
Undergraduate Research
Effective Utilization of Solar Energy by Intermediate Stabilization of Control Voltage
-BITS competition for Tech Projects, 2012 (Consolation Prize)
Designed & developed an intermediate stabilization circuit of buck boost converter using Solar panels for testing and harnessing Solar Energy which was stored in SMF battery
Micro-Sensors for Water Quality Assessment: A Review - International Conference on “Emerging Technologies from Micro to Nano”, organized by BITS and CEERI Pilani, Rajasthan, India 2013
The Micro-Sensors available for assessment of water quality, their challenges and future prospects in monitoring water systems
For comprehensive design of sensors for total analysis of water contaminants – use of single microsystem for the detection of multiple contaminants which would provide efficient and complete analysis of water samples
Design of State Feedback Control System with Specific Application, 2014
Designed a Ward-Leonard model with a thyristor in its armature field winding
By fluctuating firing angle made system non-linear and verified if the system is still controllable and observable
Used RC circuit for firing angle variation
Graduate Research
Multi-focus image fusion using the Non-Subsampled Contourlet Transform (NSCT), Dec 2014
Focused regions in each of the initial images and combine then to give us final fused image using lowpasssubband coefficients for a selecting and averaging scheme. Multi-focused images are first decomposed, the required focused regions are identified and the final image is reconstructed using the inverse NSCT function
EMBEDDED SYSTEMS - Auto-Scaled Low-Frequency Counter
Devised using VHDL based on Finite State Machine using Multisim and Quartus II and simulated on Altera’s Cyclone DE1 board for FGPA
VHDL - Logical Expression Cell
Designed and modelled the circuit to get transistor level layout and obtained electrical parameters for the circuit.
CONTROLS - ANFIS Based Neuro-Fuzzy Controller in LFC Wind-Micro Hydro-Diesel Hybrid Power System
Devised a PID controller has frequency deviation, power deviation and maintains system reliability.
Extracurricular Activities
Participated in Organizing singing event as Marketing Coordinator, "Nazarana Pyaar Ka", at Dubai, 2012
Volunteer, BITS, Dubai campus, for campus- drives, competitions, 2010-2014
Runner-up, Throw Ball in Annual Sports Inter Class Tournament organized by BITS, Pilani Dubai Campus, 2011-2012.
Member of IEEE, 2013-2014
