Experience

United Parcel Service 2007- Present- Human Resource Supervisor

I recruit and staff numerous positions (including unionized labor, executive staff, marketing, sales, finance, communications, drivers, warehouse, airport staff, and administrative staff);

Conduct annual internal HR audits, as well as investigations for employee relations and disputes, Union Grievances and recommended actions for final decree.

As Safety Co-Chair I organize wellness, education and job fairs. Also in charge of follow-up of injured employees and help establish new wellness programs and safety initiatives.

Community Involvement Committee lead. In charge of all district Grants ($500,000 annual budget) and Sponsorships ($250,000 annual budget) for district. Coordinate volunteer events and activities.

During Peak Season, partner with outside vendors to place contingent workers. Responsibilities include recruit, hire, and train to meet our 300+ seasonal employee goal.

Accounts receivables; Budget, stock and inventory all merchandise, supplies and parts. Manage employee payroll and help maintain good communication and working relationships with our wholesalers.

Maintained builder accounts and helped devise new programs and advertisements to create new business strategies. Obtained applications for new home purchases and refinances. Discussed and explained new products and loan programs to clients. Build client accounts through other mortgage and real estate professionals to maintain a productive pipeline. Represented our company for the Greater Houston Builder Association and Affordable Housing Committee for Houston.
