Project Description

Project related to car navigation and road mapping. The objective of this project is the enhancement of the current of current vector database for streets in terms of spatial accuracy from SPS, shapes and transport routing parameters as perceived from video photographs and data collected by FDC people. Create and update coding on functional class geometry this speed sign and geometry positional accuracy.

Atlas Bison is the client customized software will be used as workspace for applying coding. Most of the Geometry construction task will be performed on AUTOCAD software and then these files will be converted into shape files. The shape files will be imported in the atlas bison and then the coding will be done.

Base map: - A set of topographical data displayed in a map form providing for reference or contextual information to the user.

Van Data Collection :- (Vanilla Mapper)

Background: The Vanilla Mapper is a mobile mapping System using a Ladybug 3 panoramic Camera.

Field data collection is a term used to describe a process of preparing and collecting data.

The purpose of the data collection is

1. To obtain information to keep on record

2. To make decision about important issues.

3. To pass the information on to others.

Tagging:-

Tags are like keywords or labels that we add to a Place, Object in the panoramic view to make it easier to find later.

Objective: - Moving, Positioning, Editing and Verifying tag information on the Panoramic View as per processed panoramic data posted on Server.

Finally we are going to live the data. All the data will open in Web browsers its showing spherical images with the tag.
