Oracle Account Payables is a module in E-Business Suite Financials, which helps to carry out end-to-end business needs allowing users to create detailed, auditable, reconcilable accounting information. Account Payables includes key areas like Supplier setup & usage information, Invoice/Supplier Open interface, Invoice Workbench, Payment Workbench, Prepayments, AWT, PO matched invoices, Invoice and Payment Accounting, Cash basis accounting, AP trial balance, Period close, Reconciliation with GL .

Part of the development team of Accounts Payable, which is responsible for the development of new releases and enhancement and maintenance of existing releases. The project deals with fixing the data and code issues raised by account Payables customers worldwide; enhancing existing features/adding new features to the product and worked on issues related to the code/data/upgrade/implementation/integration of 11i and R12 Accounts Payable.

Responsibilities:

Worked on PAYMENTS which deals with PPR and payment workbench. PPR has been coded on Oracle Applications Framework (OAF). Payment workbench has been code on Oracle forms.

Worked on different BC4J Components for OAF customizations. Extended AM (Application Module), VO (View Objects) and modified the CO (Controllers).

Worked on OAF pages which includes simple search, advanced search, PPR (partial page rendering).

Worked on Release 12 product maintenance and builds enhancements for Oracle Payables module.

Handled issues for critical Customer issues like Amazon, Alcoa, Cisco and Amex to resolve show-stopper issues like PPR, payment workbench and IBY related issues and delivered solutions in less than 24 hours.

Handled Priority 1 (P1) issues where solution had to be provided in limited timeline.

Was responsible for identifying, analyzing, troubleshooting and resolving technical problems with Oracle applications by setting up Oracle test cases in replicated environments, analyzing data setups, modifying the code and data as per Customer needs, creating patches with code fixes and generic data fixes, and creating workaround solutions according to Oracle methodologies.

Fixed critical and complex code fixes in AP Payments area.

Worked closely with managers to prepare monthly reports on bug inflow.

Triaged inflow of bugs in the AP Payments area and successfully maintained the backlog to optimum level.

Developed generic data fix (GDF) scripts to identify and fix all the transactions having similar data corruption pattern which helps to fix all the transactions at one attempt and thereby reduced the number of bugs logged for similar issue.

I worked for WDS (Wireless data services) team. Team handles online and offline billing for wireless networks. The devices for which we do billing are CDMA products like Tata whiz, Tata photon, CDMA Mobiles. Overall our team involves in data usage charging like 2G and 3G services. We receive huge number of IPDR’s (Internet Process Data Record) and INDR’s (Intelligent Network Data Record) in the form of flat files. We have used technologies like UNIX, Java, and PL/SQL to load these flat files data into tables and follow the business logic to bill the data.

In short, using SQLOADER concept we load IPDRS and INDRS multiple tables. These tables have PL/SQL triggers to get there required information and to just consider the required fields from IPDR’s and INDR’s. Here the actual business logic starts and there we use Java coding to billing.

Our team also implements CVMS (Content Vendor Management Settlement) in which TTSL settles revenue share for service providers (3rd party vendors). 3rd party vendors provide few VAS services to TTSL customers. Based on business logic, we developed reports to calculate share of 3rd party vendors. These reports are sent to business on daily, weekly and monthly basis. The logic and conditions varies for different vendors.

The data of IPDR’s are INDR’s file counts are huge. We implemented multiple thread concepts where ever possible for better performance. And DB storage, performance issues and backup data all are considered.

Implemented API’s which shows voice calls, SMS, CRBT and VAS services for a particular MDN using Servlets and basic struts concepts. It is useful for customer care agents.

Responsibilities:
