SVP/MUSIC AND CONTENT CLIP INTERACTIVE

Clip is a interactive mobile advertising startup with located in Boulder Colorado. Using “ACR” or Audio Content Recognition, Clip’s mobile platform allows our clients to instantly connect to any brand by holding their smartphone up to a radio or television and convert the audio into a rich media message.

This role is defining best practices for growing the user base, working with major content suppliers to create integrated mobile marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness, big data and future sales.

Current partners include major record labels including Sony, Universal and Warner Brothers and working with the C-Suite to define integrated mobile artist campaigns and strategies.

Successful artist campaigns include: Miranda Lambert, Christiana Perri, Jason Mraz, Paul McCartney, Paramore, Imagine Dragons, Blake Shelton, Eric Clapton, 5 Seconds of Summer, Bastille and others.

SVP / ENGAGEMENT TRITON DIGITAL MEDIA

This position was overseeing a white label, brand loyalty program that served over 800+ clients in television, radio and print.

Specialties include creating viral, online contests that interface with Social and Mobile to grow client site Uniques. Current successes included driving the generation of over 170K Uniques in a single 4 week promotion. Created a research platform and administers panel surveys to determine emerging media trends. The results we’re published by the NAB.

Working with some of the biggest media companies throughout the U.S, Mexico and Canada, this position involved training of best practices, R&D of new strategies and tactics to drive participation and increase revenue.

During this time I was charged with defining station programming, sales and web strategies. Other responsibilities included the oversight of all market research efforts including direct mail, television and telemarketing.

Produced CRM campaigns resulting in high retention margins as well as direct mail projects that yielded over 8% returns.

Successful sponsorship branding campaigns executed during this time for American Airlines, major record labels including SONY and Warner Brothers as well as major music festivals for the Cities of Dallas and Irving.

BRAND MANAGER SW NETWORK (NEW YORK)

JANUARY 1995 TO OCTOBER 1996

A joint venture between Sony Software and Time Warner, this network specialized in the national syndication of entertainment content.

Successful accomplishments included developing, launching and programming of a 24 hour satellite music format and nationally syndicated radio show as well as co-branded websites.

Other responsibilities included developing sales collateral, executive presentations and the solicitation and closing of new network affiliates to expand the brand

BRAND MANAGER WNUA RADIO (CHICAGO)

NOVEMBER 1986 TO OCTOBER 1996

Responsible for creating content for this high profile, award winning broadcast property.

Accomplishments included creating a successful business model for a new radio format that was later adopted nationally, creating a long term consumer database and direct marketing tactics.

Other responsibilities included the development and management of outside promotional relationships and the analysis of audience and market research including auditorium testing, direct mail and database development.

During this time was I was also an independent content provider (in-flight audio programs) for several European Airlines as well as FM KOBE/Japan.

Responsible for overseeing the design and implementation of a marketing research call center.
