Primary responsibilities included training, oversight and supervision of clinical research coordinators, regulatory compliance, finance oversight, project management, and the development and provision of training in-services for attending physicians, residents, bedside nurses, and OR staff . Additional responsibilities included assisting with protocol development/design, resident research education, nursing research education, quality improvement projects, review of protocols and budgets, site preparation for sponsor approval, IRB application process, patient screening and recruitment, patient enrollment, conducting study visits, maintaining and dispensing drug supplies, completing and assuring quality of case report forms, maintaining source documents, ensuring site quality, and regulatory functions.

Responsibilities include coordination of care, patient education, patient advocate, patient and staff resource, facilitate acquisition of equipment and supplies. Worked closely with patients and physicians assessing health status and intervening appropriately. Assessments done both telephonically and during clinic visits.

2. Endoscopy: employed full-time for approximately three years. Initially worked as a staff RN. Responsibilities included patient assessment and education pre-procedure, administer IV conscious sedation, monitoring patients’ condition, assist physician January 8, 2016 Page 3 of 11

with procedures, recover patients and provide discharge instructions. Responsible for maintenance of equipment. The last one and a half years worked as the assistant nurse manager and as the acting nurse manager. Additional responsibilities to those previously listed included: budget, supervision and evaluation of employees, orientation / mentoring employees, acquisition of capital assets, development and revision of billing system, development of documentation tools, and member of nursing recruitment and retention committee.

3. Float pool: employed full-time for approximately for approximately two years as an RN. Provided staff coverage in Burn Unit, Emergency Department, Radiology Special Procedures, Labor and Delivery Recovery Room, Neonatal Intensive Care and Progressive Care Units, Term Nursery, Adult Progressive Care Unit, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, Adult Surgical Intensive Care Unit, Adult Medical Intensive Care Unit, Adult Coronary Care Unit, and the Endoscopy Department. January 1996 - Jan 1998: Nightingale Nurses, Phoenix, AZ. Employed part - time to provide weekend coverage for home visits May 1994 - December 1996: Olsten-Kimberly Quality Care, Phoenix, AZ. Employed part-time to provide weekend coverage for home visits. May 1987 - February 1988: Mercy Hospital, Council Bluffs, IA. Employed full-time as a staff RN in the Coronary Care Unit. Left employment to relocate.
