Responsible for early cost planning, budget establishment for the Hotels and major road infrastructure, as well as contact negotiation, award, and post contract management for waterfront streetscape, golf course and the central district cooling plant.

Projects Commercial Manager for the Construction Partnership and PSU, reporting to the area director on an asset investment and renewal portfolio of 400m GBP, for major buildings and structures in the southern region coupled with Power Supply Upgrade of all electrical assets.

General responsibilities on behalf of the client were the completion of call-off contracts under an umbrella partnership agreement, general contract administration, variation identification and agreement, programme reviews and monitoring, final account agreement with factors of pain and gain dividends, final accounts auditing based on actual cost, direct liaison with local authorities and 3rd parties regarding legal right of access and financial contributions and the annual agreement of revised terms and conditions of the partnership contract, based on continual development and improvement.

General responsibilities direct to the client were the production of period reports detailing actual spend and liability against anticipated spend, time and budget, The identification and development of the asset renewal and refurbishment portfolio and the delivery of investment strategies in periodical meetings. The continual improvement and agreement of the partnership contract terms and conditions. Co-ordination of asset renewal programmes in conjunction with other regions to maximise efficiency and to relay information of best practice solutions.

Senior QS / Commercial Manger for contracts varying up to 14m AUD incorporating all activities from project inception, life cycle costing, risk analysis, contract administration and final account for new build and refurbishment projects. Expert Witness investigating and preparing reports for small contract works covered under the Home Builders Warranty and for Multi-National Companies of values of 1m AUD up to 36m AUD. Responsible for the identification and compilation of claims achieved by integrating closely within the clients own personnel staff to formulate a true and reflective claim. Projects varied from a 1,000 man mining camp in the Karratha desert to the construction of executive apartments for Australian diplomats in Bangkok, Thailand.

Quantity Surveyor providing expert witness assistance to a Loss Adjustment team evaluating the effects of hurricane damage to the main island, and surrounding islands of Puerto Rico for the Harbours and Ports Authorities. Duties were the preparation of preliminary expert witness reports based on visual inspections of damage to the Ports Authorities assets portfolio, consisting of airport buildings, aircraft hangers, ports, runways and general offices
