CURRENT WORK EXPERIENCES:

Working as a Team Leader – HPDC Die Maintenance in Renault Nissan Automotive Ind Pvt Ltd. from Oct 2011.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

To plan and implement preventive maintenance & predictive maintenance schedules

Overall shift coordinator for Die maintenance (LPDC, HPDC & Tool Room).

Work planning and work instruction to the operators to achieve Safety,Quality,Cost,Time.

Breakdown trend analysis and action planning for elimination of root causes.

Training and development of technicians (Identify training needs of maintenance associates for raising their knowledge & skill level).

Doing Job observation of operator to improve the operation standard by Kaizen.

Planning and Development of die spare parts.

Developing standard procedures for operations (Standard Operation Sheet).

Co-ordination with internal and external customers to resolve the quality problems.

Development of plans for productivity enhancement through effective PM Activities.

Departmental coordinator of QMS & EMS (IS0 9001 & ISO14001) Certification.

Carrying out Autonomous maintenance & 5S activities.

Ensure implementation of focused improvement & new projects.

Cost reduction activities by Kaizen, Localization.

Compilation of Monthly Cylinder Block Die Maintenance Report.

Maintaining documents like Die history cards, DMR, LCR, Die specific check sheet.

Master trainer for EOT (35/17.5ton) Double hoist crane for Team members Training, Evaluation and License issue.

Review & follow up with concerned department & supplier.

Initiate changes in timing of casting cycle, lubrication of dies or spacing between dies to correct defects in castings.

Participating in Tool Room Activities for design / modification in Dies

Worked on 3-D machining software in Work NC.

Developments of pressure die casting, plastic molding & press tools and components from vendors.

ACHEIVEMENTS:

50% Reduction of Die break down percentage. (8 to 4%).

Reduction of Hazardous waste generation in die maintenance by EMP.

Have implemented more than 50L cost saving projects.

Certified in Die maintenance activities from Nissan Mother Plant global training center.

Attended Japan based Nissan Mother Plant training for 3Months.

Certified Internal Auditor for QMS & EMS.

Successfully completed NTWI (Role of Supervisor, Role of Shop floor).

Certified for Risk Assessment training attended from Tamilnadu Government Fire force.
