Promoted to replace the VP of Operations. In charge of security, multiple warehouses control totaling over 500,000 sq. ft., and still in charge of MIS and world-wide Information Technology at a CIO capacity; responsible for a multi-million dollar budget. Key accomplishments include :

Coordinated the development of software to handle global real-time expansion and control into 4 world-wide locations (www.hosley.com; www.hgglobal.com; www.hosleygroup.com; www.hosleyindia.com ) and handle sales growth that has exceeded 500% over the past 17 years, and where the number or products grew from a few thousand to over 150,000 items.

Reduced warehouse labor by 43% and inventory by 36% over the course of two years, and reduced shipping lags from 4 days to be the same or next day shipment when first installing a new ERP system.

Increased inventory accuracy from 67% to over 99%, eliminating the yearly fiscal wall to wall inventory.

Deigned and integrated our forecasting systems directly to Wal-Mart and Jo-Ann Fabrics for better inventory turns and control of replenishment to stores and DC’s. Integrated Shiloh and JDA software to our ERP systems. Responsible for the forecasting of our largest customer Wal-Mart.

Hired new managers & trained personnel on WMS systems, as well as help implement the new WMS warehouse system. Implemented automated packing, closing and billing stations.

Designed a 225,000 automated warehouse expansion with flow racks and conveyor sortation systems and facilitated a new 517,000 sq. ft. distribution center. In charge of all facility security.

Redesigned global office layouts and showrooms for better efficiency, as well as warehouse storage and manufacturing operations.

Hired a new sales manager to create telemarketing sales teams and head a new catalog development and advertising campaign to increase sales. Hosley received the 2008 Supplier of the Year award from Wal-Mart.

Hired and trained new MIS personnel to handle software development, network issues, PC helpdesk, EDI and systems control for 30 new servers.

Converted data from a Business Basic file based system to a HP UNIX based Informix Data Base platform running on dual HP 9000 computers.

Designed an entirely new integrated office PC based system with remote dial in access for sales people and managers, as well as all the Microsoft business offerings.

Designed and integrated the Frame, DSL and ISDN hookups of 4 remote show sites to the headquarters, along with the firewall, virus security and Internet hookup.
