Position held as a Supervisor, giving the 12 men working under me instructions cleaning the mag wheels and stripping the wasted paint of them in chemicals. All aluminium wheels that are scrap get sent back to the furnace for smelting. I inspect the wheels to make sure they are perfect before sending them to quality control for export. Contract started March 2015 to present.

Position held as Boilermaker Supervisor, my duties as follows, work with fifteen workers to fabricate overhead cranes. Had to mark out the materials and clean the areas with a grinder before assembling. After grinding had to remark and assemble the plate in position as per drawing. Had to put web plates in between the main frames so the welders could weld inside before closing up the man frame of the overhead cranes. Size of cranes were from 5 ton to 350 ton cranes been fabricated. Also used dumpy levels to make sure the frames where straight and spirit levels. Contract was from February 2012 – May 2014.

Position held as Boilermaker, Working from Drawings fabricating Grizzlies, pontoons, chutes, screens and structural work. In order to fabricate the jobs I used tape measures, squares spirit level and dumpy levels. Cutting material to size having marked holes and drill. Working with angle iron, beams and channel iron. After fabricating I had to install the materials together making sure that every thing fitted according to the drawing. Worked overtime .Contract from Jan 2007- December 2011. Was Retrenched.

Position held as Boilermaker, worked from drawings fabricating Portable drives and Bogies. All structural work, marking and cutting the material all to size, angle iron, beams and channel iron. Marking holes and drilling holes, fabricating the pulleys also for the portable drives, using tape measures and squares,dumpy level and spirit levels, assembling the job before welding. Work overtime, Standby duties Contract from July2005- Aug 2006. Relocated to Gauteng.
