Assigned to AAA Insurance Exchange as a Sr. iSeries Administrator. Co-lead a team to migrate iSeries hardware to i7 platform. Moved the systems to the new hardware while upgrading the OS to 7.1 with only 4 hours of downtime. I served as SME for the implementation of development system and configured Aldon Change Management. I automated all batch runs for the production system, saving the company $500,000 annually in operator salaries. Designed the use of CCSS monitoring to aid in the adoption of light out operations. I furthered my education by acquiring ITIL foundation certification and SIX SIGMA training. I have also had PMP boot camp.

Improved business resiliency by building a datacenter for all corporate systems to reside in a power, environmental and physically secured location. Upgraded iSeries systems from unsupported IBM hardware and OS release to systems giving redundancy and additional development partitions while reducing support costs by $50,000/year. The system move and upgrade was accomplished with only hour of business downtime. Created operations department; hiring, training and managing staff in addition to development of automated monitoring tools. Reduced over 100 SOX audit findings to zero for the last 5 consecutive quarters on the iSeries platform.
